I finally had a chance to spend some time getting up to speed with the aid and relief efforts in China and Burma. It's a tragedy that I could not even begin to comprehend or put into perspective. It is heart-wrenching to think that people who had very little to begin with now suffer an even greater loss. And now they struggle to find their families and rebuild their lives, amid the repercussions like disease and hunger that have only just begun.
