FIXED ON SOBRIETY

I read that title on the midnight ridazz site and I found it really fitting for some reason.

Retox is off to a great start. So great that I think I'm ready to start detoxing again. If I could turn the last week into a Berenstain Bears book it would be titled "The Berenstain Bears Get Rewarded for Bad Behavior".
Cat Power at the Wiltern was excellent. Chan Marshall is still on the list of people I wouldn't mind being.

Thursday and Friday were a warm up for the Urban Iditorad on Saturday. I'm not even sure how to describe it besides the best day ever. So here are some highlights:
-Hundreds of stolen shopping carts rushing down the streets from Venice to Santa Monica.
-I'd like to say we had the best carts ever, not only because they were the biggest and baddest (one was from Costco and the other from Home Depot - and it had seats) but also because we had a keg hiding under a tarp in there. Mobile keg stands anyone?
Boone's (death wish). Cabo. Venice Canals. Getting lost. Grassy knoll beachside party. Helicopters? SWAT Team. Franzia bladders. Tomatoes. Wine towers. Lost cell phones. Cameras. Money. And dignity. Naps. Brittania. Gang bangs. And doing it all over again.

Here is an excellent video:
