Wednesday March 5th -
The Duke Spirit at the Echo. UK-Alternative/Soul/Punk band. The new album has receivew some great reviews, I like it and it kind of follows a sea theme.
Thursday March 6th -
LA Green Drinks - Culver City
Friday March 7th -
The Passion of the Bike - Midnight Ridazz ride in honor of everyone's favorite racial-slur yelling asshole. Here's the deal:We'll start in front of the bike shop on the boardwalk just south of the Santa Monica pier (in the "old muscle beach" behind lowes). From there we'll ride up the bike path and then take the PCH up the coast to Moonshadows where we'll share in a commemorative toast. After that, we'll turn around and head back down the PCH to Santa Monica's main st where we'll bar hop our way to abbott kinney, then down venice bl to the boardwalk where we'll head back up to our starting point for tipsy playtime on the gym equipment in the sand.
I went on my first midnight ridazz ride a few weeks ago. Ridiculous.
Saturday March 8th
Create:Fixate - Group art show, music and drinks in a warehouse downtown. I went to the show in December and it was excellent.
Blinky the Friendly Hen - 30th Anniversary - Art exhibition and opening and reception at the Track 16 Gallery in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica.
Lest I forget some bike rides and maybe surfing given the fact that it's supposed to remain in the 70s for the remainder of the week.
Lot's more shows and residencies I'm looking forward to in March...more later.
